AWS Supply Chain is a cloud-based application that works with your enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply chain management systems to connect and extract your inventory, supply, and demand related data from existing ERP or supply chain systems into a single data model. The AWS Supply Chain service is looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality technical publications for the service. Ideally, you have both a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation. Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality technical publications for AWS Supply Chain service.
• Collaborate with a technical team to author technical content.
• Explain complex information concisely for a technical audience.

Requirements

• Degree or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience designing and producing content for a technical audience, such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or IT professionals.
• Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with XML, markdown, or HTML.
• Familiarity with using and following a style guide.
• Experience designing, planning, and delivering content that meets the needs of a technical audience.
• Previous Supply Chain Management experience preferred.
• Experience working directly with teams of software engineers.
