About the position

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Technical Writer & Business Analyst. At Hexagon, we strive to help industrial manufacturers develop the disruptive technologies of today and the life-changing products of tomorrow. Our strength comes from our global footprint and enormous portfolio of advanced industrial sensors, measurement technologies, factory automation, simulation, and analytics tools. The role involves participating in requirements grooming and planning, working with developers, Product Owners (PO), and Quality Assurance (QA) to create and edit product documents, including Release Notes (RN), Change Log (CL), Functional Requirements Specification (FRS), User Requirements Specification (URS), and Process Qualifications (PQ). The candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and approving Installation Qualifications (IQ), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), and Server Sizing, as well as ensuring documentation issues are resolved and impacted documents are corrected.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements grooming and planning.
  • Work with developers, Product Owners (PO), and Quality Assurance (QA) to create and edit product documents.
  • Create and edit product Online Help.
  • Review and approve Installation Qualifications (IQ), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), and Server Sizing.
  • Review Operation Qualifications (OQ) created by QA to ensure they are traced to the written FRS.
  • Proofread existing documents prior to delivery.
  • Resolve documentation issues and correct impacted documents.
  • Perform information engineering to produce different documents for different user personas.
  • Provide daily status updates for assignments.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical writing skills.
  • Use Adobe RoboHelp, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel effectively.
  • Work as a GDP reviewer to ensure executed installation qualifications are documented based on GDP guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience in the offered position or related position.
  • Experience in creating and editing technical documents.
  • Knowledge of Adobe RoboHelp.
  • Knowledge of image and video recording and editing tools.
  • Knowledge of using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in creating and editing specification documents in alignment with CSV, GxP, and GMP.
  • Experience in writing process qualifications and test scenarios for validation purposes.
  • Experience in GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
  • Knowledge of the SDLC and Agile framework.
