About the position

Adecco is seeking a Technical Writer for a 6-month contract assignment at a manufacturing facility in Pinellas Park, FL. The role involves standardizing and documenting manufacturing and system processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and clarity in documentation to support smooth operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and accurately document manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement new templates to standardize and improve work documentation.
  • Work independently to write, proofread, and edit technical documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure completeness of documentation.
  • Provide suggestions and recommendations for improvements to existing documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in technical writing or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with documentation standards and best practices.
