About the position

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Fluids/Mechanical Analyst to design and analyze pressure vessels, fluid lines, and flexible elements for space applications. This role is critical in ensuring that our hardware meets stringent safety and performance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed drawings and conducting structural and finite element analysis to validate designs. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in the context of fluid dynamics and structural integrity. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural dynamics and finite element modeling. Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Nastran, Ansys, or Abaqus is essential for this role. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs are optimized for performance and reliability in demanding space environments. In addition to the technical skills, candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position, reflecting the sensitive nature of the projects involved.
