About the position

As a Technical Writer III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be responsible for investigating and responding to Quality Management System deviations and complaints. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest level of quality and performance in the manufacturing process, contributing to projects that have a real-world impact, such as finding cures for cancer and ensuring food safety.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to Quality Management System deviations and complaints
• Identify root causes and initiate action plans for prevention
• Conduct in-depth interviews to obtain accurate information
• Write technical concepts clearly and concisely for product analysis
• Complete CAPAs and effectiveness checks within the Quality Management System
• Establish recommendations for changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and associated documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma and one year of experience in a Pharmaceutical Packaging/GMP environment
• Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret regulatory requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
