About the position

Iron Mountain is offering a 12-week internship program for a Technical Writer Intern, aimed at rising seniors pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, English, or a related field. The internship focuses on documenting product features and creating instructional content to support user adoption and learning. Interns will work closely with various internal teams and receive structured development, professional skills training, and networking opportunities throughout the program.

Responsibilities

• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and user guides.
• Create virtual tutorials and videos.
• Upload and maintain documentation on the collaboration site.
• Proofread and edit documents submitted by the team.
• Provide a quick turnaround and meet all deadlines.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expectation that the degree will be obtained between December 2025 - July 2026.
• Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship.
• Pursuing a degree in Media, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the continental United States for the duration of the program.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future).
• This is a 40-hour per week assignment.
