About the position

The Technical Writer - Process Controls position at Kelly Services involves transforming documented and undocumented processes into comprehensive quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for a premier auto manufacturer. This role is essential for ensuring operational sustainability and alignment with industry best practices, particularly within Honda's operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with process owners to understand existing processes and document them accurately.
• Develop quality standards, SOPs, and work instructions that meet internal requirements and best practices.
• Identify gaps in current documentation and engage with process owners to address them.
• Interact with stakeholders outside the business unit to ensure process alignment and integration.
• Create guidance documents and templates for standardizing quality standards and operating procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in process documentation and quality management.
• Strong understanding of process mapping and documentation standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Ability to critically analyze processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Familiarity with Honda's operational standards is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Process Professional (CPP), or Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.
