About the position
The Technical Writer/Program Analyst will support the Navy Tactical Data Network (NTDN) by collaborating with internal technical teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the product and its documentation needs. This role is essential for converting complex technical information into accessible documents for non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and compliance with classification standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to understand product details and documentation requirements.
- Convert technical language into clear, concise documents for non-technical audiences.
- Ensure compliance with classification standards for both classified and unclassified documents.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Visio for documentation, with additional use of Excel and PowerPoint as needed.
Requirements
- TS/SCI + CI Poly level clearance is required.
- Ability to convert technical language into documents for non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of classification for classified and unclassified documents.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Word and Visio, and working experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
