About the position

The Technical Writer will support the Regulatory Remediation program by uplifting various reporting materials and serving as a project manager. This role involves translating complex technical concepts into understandable language for stakeholders, developing documentation, and managing project activities across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Uplift existing reporting and assist with communicating strategy and storytelling associated with the Regulatory Remediation program.
  • Translate technical details to executive and regulatory reporting needs.
  • Develop content to explain new technologies and processes for stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain a documentation hub for new releases and periodic refreshes.
  • Assist with technical writing including business cases, scope requirements, outcomes, benefits, and metrics.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and management of small to medium cross-technology team initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain an end-to-end project plan, including managing resource forecasts and cost plans.
  • Provide updates on OKRs, project execution metrics, and outcomes, including project ROI.
  • Coordinate communication across multiple project stakeholders, translating technical details to an executive level.
  • Identify and implement best practices for project management.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience working in IT within the Financial Services industry.
  • Technical acumen to understand and articulate technical topics.
  • Ability to develop technical content into consumable documentation and communications.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of current technologies with past experience in a technical role.
  • Outstanding communication skills with confidence to deliver difficult messages to senior management.
  • Proficiency with tools such as SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
  • Self-starter who can identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to partner with key stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology and Jira advanced roadmap.
