About the position

The Technical Writer/Quality Document Control position at Adept Life Sciences involves creating and managing quality documentation related to dietary supplement manufacturing. The role is essential for ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining accurate records of quality control activities. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to facilitate the timely release of products and materials while developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete records of all quality control activities.
• Create controlled documents for the Master Manufacturing Record (MMR), based on the Master Formula.
• Create batch records.
• Communicate with production, warehouse, and other departments to ensure timely release of products and materials.
• Investigate and resolve any non-conformances or deviations from established procedures.
• Create and issue logbooks and associated working forms used in cGMP areas.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and training records to ensure compliance.
• Assist in training teams on newly approved procedures when needed.
• Communicate appropriately and effectively with customers (internal and external) to determine documentation requirements when needed.
• Implement and log change requests when applicable.
• Stay current with changes in regulations and industry standards related to dietary supplements.

Requirements

• 4 year degree in relevant field
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
