About the position

The Technical Writer position requires a professional with 4-6 years of experience in writing and documentation. The role focuses on developing content that aligns with organizational objectives, particularly within the IRS EA and ELC Agile processes. The writer must possess strong technical knowledge and the ability to translate complex instructions into clear documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Plan and conduct the artifact review process according to IRS guidelines.
  • Ensure all artifacts are communicated with and reviewed by relevant stakeholders.
  • Address comments and feedback from stakeholders before finalizing artifacts.
  • Coordinate and conduct the artifact signature process, ensuring timely distribution and receipt of signatures.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in professional writing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and management tools.
  • Deep understanding of the EA and ELC Agile processes.
  • Ability to articulate and translate instructions provided by the IRS EASME.
  • Sound IT technical knowledge and understanding of IRS EA enterprise standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
