About the position

The Technical Writer position involves developing and managing technical documentation in alignment with organizational objectives. The role requires proficiency in writing, a strong understanding of technical processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure documentation meets standards and is completed on time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content to align with organizational objectives based on IRS guidelines.
  • Plan for and conduct the artifact review process, ensuring all artifacts are communicated with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and conduct the artifact signature process, ensuring timely distribution and receipt of signatures.
  • Translate technical instructions provided by IRS EA SMEs into clear documentation.
  • Ensure all artifacts adhere to IRS EA enterprise standards, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in professional writing for technical documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and management tools.
  • Deep understanding of the EA and ELC Agile process.
  • Sound IT technical knowledge and understanding of IRS EA enterprise standards.
