eNGINE is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team and support a Fortune 500 client in the financial services sector. This role is crucial for creating and maintaining comprehensive policies and procedures that govern technology concepts. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in technical writing, particularly within the realms of Financial Services, Information Technology, or Engineering. The Technical Writer will be responsible for converting complex technical information into clear, concise documents tailored for various audiences, ensuring that all documentation meets the highest standards of clarity and accuracy. In this position, the Technical Writer will collaborate closely with technology control management leads and teams to produce essential policy and process documentation. This includes leading or assisting in business requirement sessions, documenting business requirements, and developing recommendations for business process improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of internal auditing practices and the challenges associated with policy and procedure documentation. Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain policies and procedures for technology concepts.
  • Convert complex technical information into clear, concise documents for various audiences.
  • Work with technology control management leads and teams to produce policy and process documentation.
  • Lead or assist in business requirement sessions and document business requirements.
  • Develop and implement business process improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in technical writing, research, and documentation (15+ years without a degree).
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products and collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of internal auditing practices and challenges to policy and procedure documentation.
  • Excellent technical writing skills including research and policy documentation.
