About The Position
The Gas Technical Document Management team (Gas TDM) is part of the Standards Engineering department, supporting the gas organization within PG&E. Gas TDM has a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of effective gas manuals, standards, procedures, and bulletins that enable PG&E to meet or exceed compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, and ensure public and employee safety. The Technical Writer collaborates with Gas Operations and Gas Engineering personnel in writing, updating, and maintaining gas guidance documents, internal business processes, and other documentation. The role within this department requires an individual to have the ability to work and communicate effectively and demonstrate by personal action a 100% commitment to public and employee safety. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory (San Ramon).
