SPYROS Information & Technology Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of Synergy ECP, is seeking a Technical Writer to support the program by generating Strategic Communications materials across USCYBERCOM and its external partners. The Technical Writer will play a crucial role in ensuring consistent and effective messaging by assisting in the preparation of various documentation types, including Incident Information Reports (IIRs), TASKORDs, Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), Transition Plans, Quad Charts, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM). This position requires a strong focus on maintaining consistent messaging and formatting across all documents produced. In addition to documentation preparation, the Technical Writer will provide reach-back support to create visual aids and graphic designs that enhance communication with senior leadership and decision-makers. The role involves collaborating with Lines of Effort (LOEs) leads to align efforts with stated objectives from Combatant Command (CCMD) Operational Plans (OPLANs), Contingency Plans (CONPLANs), and Commander's Intent. The Technical Writer will also support the development of materials for inclusion in Wargames, Exercises, Tabletop Exercises (TTXs), and other events, aimed at socializing concepts and effects at all leadership levels. The ideal candidate will possess a TS//SCI clearance with a current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph and a background investigation. A full scope or lifestyle polygraph is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates should have over seven years of experience in technical writing or reporting, particularly in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) or IIRs, and demonstrate strong writing skills with experience in preparing assessments and information papers for senior leaders. Familiarity with current Department of Defense (DoD) directives and instructions for document preparation and standards, as well as current CYBERCOM document preparation guidelines, is preferred. Experience working within the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) or Special Access Programs (SAP) is also advantageous.
