About the position

Evoke Consulting is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team, focusing on providing documentation and analysis for enterprise IT data within federal government agencies. The role involves collaborating with an integrated team to ensure effective communication and documentation of processes, metrics, and reports, while supporting client requests and maintaining technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, analyze, and provide metrics on enterprise IT data using a customized app within ServiceNow.
  • Develop, analyze, maintain, and document processes to implement and ensure configuration control of electronic files using M365 (e.g., SharePoint and OneDrive).
  • Draft, consolidate input, and update recurring reports recommending opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop PowerPoint briefs for various presentations, trainings, and meetings.
  • Support ad hoc, quick-turn client requests related to data collection, compilation, and analysis.
  • Contribute to, update, and conduct peer review for all technical documentation and work products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in documenting business processes, systems, and applications.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • Understanding and experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience working with Jira to create, update, and maintain project workflows.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients' senior-level leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to quickly absorb complex processes and business needs.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving, leveraging technology to solve business problems.
  • Critical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
