About the position

The Technical Writer will be responsible for driving the documentation strategy for Adobe Firefly Services, focusing on creating high-quality developer documentation for various APIs and creative workflow tools. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation that meets the needs of the developer community while reflecting the company's voice and values.

Responsibilities

• Review a wide range of technical content created by product service engineering and technical teams, including API References, onboarding materials, and tutorials.
• Create, edit, and review code samples and project templates in partnership with product teams.
• Ensure documentation is optimized for search and discoverability, making it easy for customers to find necessary information.
• Manage the documentation release process and content updates, ensuring timely and efficient changes.
• Handle pull requests from the community to keep documentation up-to-date and accurate.
• Identify and operationalize documentation optimization areas using new technologies such as AI.

Requirements

• Strong writing and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Experience detailing APIs and web technologies, with familiarity in modern content guidelines and documentation release processes.
• Experience with OpenAPI and related tools is a must.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and Markdown.
• Experience with git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript and web concepts, with the ability to test small snippets of code.
