About the position

Actalent is seeking a technical writer with experience in creating operational readiness documents to support a new manufacturing facility. The role involves developing utilities operations procedures, maintenance plans, and equipment reliability Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to various stakeholders, including engineering teams and operational staff. This position requires a strong understanding of technical writing principles and the ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documentation. The technical writer will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to gather information and ensure that all documentation meets the necessary standards and requirements. Additionally, the role may involve revising existing documents to improve clarity and usability, as well as participating in training sessions to help staff understand new procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Create operational readiness documents for a new manufacturing facility.
