About the position

The Technical Writer for the Sleep & Respiratory Care organization at Philips is responsible for creating and editing technical documents, ensuring timely production and delivery in accordance with business procedures. This role involves collaborating with various teams to gather necessary information, transforming input into quality documentation, and managing the review and approval process for these documents.

Responsibilities

• Proactively collect all necessary information for documentation activities, including organizing discussions with document owners and relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with QA and Post Market Surveillance teams to address questions regarding quality documentation content.
• Transform collected input into appropriate formats per company processes, including Quality, Service, or User documentation.
• Organize the review of written documents with involved disciplines, handle comments, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Perform editorial tasks during peer reviews and prepare documents for translation/localization as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, technical training, or an information technology-related role.
• Expertise in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PDF, etc.) with skills in document creation and editing.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
