We are seeking a skilled Delivery Lead/Technical Writer with a strong background in public cloud and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a talent for translating complex concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and architecture teams to create high-quality content that supports our cloud solutions. This role involves leading and coordinating routines to support delivery, managing coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams, and facilitating communication and collaboration across organizations to ensure deliverable completion and timelines. You will also be responsible for providing status updates to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring adherence to Enterprise Change Management standards, and working on system vulnerabilities with existing teams to resolve issues within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Capable of working on system vulnerabilities with existing team and other teams to resolve within required timeframes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the cloud computing domain
  • Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, white papers, and best practices for our public cloud and hybrid cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to gather information and understand the functionalities and intricacies of our cloud offerings
  • Create and manage a library of technical documentation and ensure it is kept current with the latest product releases and updates
  • Simplify complex technical concepts for a diverse audience, ranging from technical experts to non-technical users
  • Work with cross functional teams to produce engaging content that highlights the benefits and features of our cloud solutions
  • Review and edit documentation created by other team members to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing to continuously improve our documentation processes and content
  • Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
