About the position

The Technical Writer will work with other technical experts, such as engineers and software developers, to ensure that the information they provide is accurate and easy to understand. The Technical writer will create technical documentation including user documentation, how-to guides, integration guides, computer systems operation guides, and product specifications that increase the experience for the digital platform.

Responsibilities

• Create user documentation
• Develop how-to guides
• Write integration guides
• Produce computer systems operation guides
• Draft product specifications for digital platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications or other related discipline
• Five years of IT technical writing and documentation experience
• Experience in graphics and presentation support, and/or maintenance of website content
• Substantial knowledge of the capabilities of computer systems
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or under general direction
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to clear a federal background investigation
• Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card
