About the position

The Technical Writer role focuses on documenting internal standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The position requires expertise in creating formal documentation that adheres to regulatory standards, particularly within the financial services or asset management sectors. The candidate will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to synthesize information and develop comprehensive documentation across several operational areas.

Responsibilities

  • Document internal standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with DORA.
  • Gather and synthesize information from internal sources such as Wiki, Intranet, and documentation repositories.
  • Document processes for capacity management and load balancing to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Develop documentation for continuous monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Create detailed procedures for regular failover testing.
  • Document robust backup and restoration processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop TechOps / NOC playbooks for incident response, including tracking and corrective action logs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in writing formal documentation that meets regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks, preferably within the EU.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to DORA requirements quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Basic project management skills to track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a global asset management company or similar financial institution.
