About the position

Castalia Systems is seeking a Technical Writer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) for CI/HUMINT efforts. This role involves creating and publishing various technical and business documents, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with stakeholders to present data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with organizational stakeholders and product owners to create and publish technical and business documents in official agency format.
• Develop Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), marketing materials, executive briefings, white papers, and promotional items.
• Provide editorial support for publications and products, ensuring adherence to classification standards.
• Document accepted business practices and organizational workflows, maintaining formatting and style standards.
• Communicate complex technical issues to executive level civilian and military management staff.
• Conduct research, identify opportunities from data analysis, and present findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Present data professionally through scorecards, dashboards, and infographics.

Requirements

• Minimum TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• 4-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or Master's degree (MA/MS).
• Experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Data analysis skills and experience in quality control.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Collection Management Officer (CMO) position in HUMINT.
• Knowledge of title 10 and 50 and critical path scheduling.
