About the position
The Technician/Assembly position at Insight Vision, LLC involves building and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies for sewer camera inspection systems. The role emphasizes adherence to safety guidelines and efficient production practices while providing opportunities for skill development and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and sub-assemblies per assigned work orders
- Execute assembly and completed product testing
- Conduct quality control inspections on finished goods
- Prepare finished products for shipment
- Work with team to sustain satisfactory working conditions within production area and maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Adhere to all safety guidelines relating to the production and handling of materials
- Ensure production deadlines are met, maximizing performance to meet per piece turn times
- Report issues or problems within production, contributing to solutions while maintaining quality standards
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
Requirements
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Circuit board level and/or small gauge wire solder and assembly experience
- Ability to work within an environment emphasizing cross training and skill development
- Demonstrate ability to interpret build instructions, gauges and monitors
- Knowledge of function of hand tools and light assembly equipment
- Attention to detail and understanding of quality control process and procedures
- Works efficiently and manages time effectively
