The Cable Installation Technician role at Prince Telecom involves performing residential and multi-dwelling unit cable television, high-speed data, and telephony installations. Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot cable TV, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment according to guidelines.
• Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to ensure service operates within prescribed parameters.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Drive a company vehicle safely between home/office, warehouse, and work sites.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment for required duties.
• Complete paperwork accurately and report work order status updates.
• Provide customer service by greeting customers, reviewing services, and educating them on product usage.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or military experience.
• Experience working in tight spaces such as crawl spaces or attics.
• Ability to work through inclement weather.
• Experience in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to lift, climb, and carry ladders weighing up to 80 lbs.
