About the position
The Technician Development Academy EP Intern program at Ohio Cat is an 11-week internship designed to provide hands-on training in power generation equipment and engine service repair. Interns will participate in a structured program that includes both classroom instruction and practical lab work, totaling 440 hours of training in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Participate in classroom and lab training sessions.
- Learn to perform operational duties related to power generation equipment.
- Gain skills in engine service repair.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Good attendance record.
- Graduation from an accredited technical school with an emphasis on diesel engines.
- Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions.
- Strong organizational, computer, customer service, and communication skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Self-confidence, persistence, openness to change, discipline, and resilience.
