About The Position

The Field Service Technician role at Canon Solutions America involves providing exceptional customer service and technical support for Canon products. The technician will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to service standards. This position requires effective communication and the ability to work in a customer-facing environment, covering a designated territory in New Jersey.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary.
  • Basic understanding of internet environments.
  • Ability to complete a 120-day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

Responsibilities

  • Reporting product failure trends and serviceability issues to the manager with necessary documentation.
  • Meeting customer demands by providing efficient and accurate maintenance services.
  • Maintaining all technical information, Field Service Reports, and Expense Reports accurately.
  • Demonstrating strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
  • Maintaining the performance of assigned machines.
  • Facilitating performance to achieve branch/district metric targets.
