About the position
The Technician - Ink Room position at ProAmpac involves formulating and matching colors for printing presses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential for producing flexible packaging products that are vital to everyday life, ensuring quality and safety in the production process.
Responsibilities
- Formulate, measure and match colors for designated printing presses based on production schedule.
- Use spectro and customer-supplied color standards to achieve desired color specifications.
- Add or reduce bases and solvents to meet customer specifications.
- Pass a hue test and conduct a bleach test as required.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of color formulation and matching processes.
