About the position

This position involves ensuring safety and compliance in operations, particularly through the implementation of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. The role requires operating CNC equipment efficiently, performing maintenance on pulverizers, and demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude. The candidate will be expected to maintain a clean work environment and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and implement affected Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety during maintenance and operations.
• Uphold company and regulatory safety standards in all tasks performed.
• Operate CNC equipment efficiently to meet production requirements.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance of pulverizers, including disk maintenance and replacement.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on pulverizers to reduce downtime and maintain productivity.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical skills to identify and address equipment issues promptly.
• Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and foster a team-oriented culture.
• Display reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capable of standing for extended periods during shifts.
