About the position
The Technician: Manufacturing - II (Evening) position at BCforward involves operating complex equipment and analytical tools in a clean room environment, specifically focusing on the processing of 12'' silicon wafers. This role requires adherence to strict gowning protocols and involves a variety of routine operations to support wafer fabrication. Technicians will work 12-hour shifts, primarily standing and performing tasks that may require repetitive motion. The position is contract-based and full-time, with a focus on efficiency and adherence to standard procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate complex equipment and analytical tools in a clean room environment.
- Process 12'' silicon wafers while adhering to gowning protocols.
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Engage in non-standard processing and problem-solving tasks.
- Support wafer fabrication operations in a specific functional area.
- Work efficiently from standard procedures and specifications.
Requirements
- AA degree in a technical discipline plus 1 year of work experience in a Semiconductor cleanroom.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a Semiconductor cleanroom.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in production with a focus on utilizing computers/software.
