We're on the lookout for a talented Setup Technician who's ready to dive into the action and make an impact. If you're passionate about machinery, quality, and teamwork, this is the role for you! As a Flexcraft Setup Technician, you'll be at the heart of our production process. Your role is crucial in setting up and optimizing blow molding and injection molding machines. You'll tackle challenges head-on, perform essential maintenance, and ensure that our machines are running smoothly to meet production goals and uphold top-notch product quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blow molding and injection molding machines according to precise specifications.
• Execute mold changes and startups to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to machine setup and operation.
• Disassemble, clean, reassemble molds, and maintain machines to ensure peak performance.
• Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain quality and meet targets.
• Keep accurate records of machine settings, maintenance, and production data.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep your workspace organized and clean.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation or maintenance is a bonus.
• 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience with measurement devices and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Detail-oriented with a quality-focused mindset.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GMP, ISO 9001:2015, lean manufacturing, and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and lean six sigma principles.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus!
