About The Position

The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars and light trucks. She/he provides the mechanical support for the automobile dealership. This position requires proficient use of tools, such as computerized diagnostic tools and power tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automobile technician or mechanic.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work with various tools and machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification from a recognized automotive program.
  • Experience with specific vehicle brands or models.
  • ASE certification.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles to determine the need for repairs or maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in cars and light trucks.
  • Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to identify problems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
