About the position

RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel MRI Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Everett, Washington. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care throughout the imaging process. The role requires a commitment to excellence in patient care, as you will be interacting with patients of various backgrounds and medical conditions. You will need to explain the MRI process to patients, prepare them for the procedure, and monitor their comfort and safety during the imaging process. Additionally, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning, and adhering to safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation. The position is a travel assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a standard workweek of 40 hours, typically consisting of 8-hour shifts during the day. Responsibilities

  • Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI scans.

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and monitoring.
  • Operate MRI equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic images.

Requirements

  • Valid MRI Technologist certification and state licensure.
  • Experience in performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and patient care.
