About the position

Next Move Inc is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Arlington, Texas. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in catheterization laboratory procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. The role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment and assisting physicians during procedures. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be expected to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in various healthcare settings while providing essential care to patients in need. The travel assignment is set to begin on September 2, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 10 hours long during the day, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab.
  • Prepare patients for catheterization procedures and monitor their vital signs.

  • Maintain and operate specialized imaging equipment in the Cath Lab.
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the healthcare setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Experience in catheterization laboratory procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to operate imaging equipment and assist in procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
