Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Seattle, Washington. This role is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cath Lab technology. The position is set to start on August 26, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks. The work schedule consists of 30 hours per week, with shifts lasting 10 hours during the day, specifically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in various procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care throughout the duration of your assignment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in various Cath Lab procedures and ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment in the Cath Lab.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the Cath Lab.
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately in medical records.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with travel assignments in healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
