About the position

PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This position involves working 12-hour shifts during the day, with an employment type classified as travel. The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization laboratory, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and the technical aspects of catheterization procedures. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate patient records and assist in the training of new staff members as needed. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization laboratory.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the catheterization process.
  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members as needed.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience with advanced cardiac procedures.
