About the position

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a travel position in Dallas, Texas. This role is designed for an Allied Health Professional who is ready to take on a 13-week assignment, working 40 hours per week. The position requires a commitment to 10-hour shifts during the day, specifically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various procedures in the catheterization lab, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care during their diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
• Experience in a catheterization lab setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Advanced certifications in cardiac care.
