About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technology. The role is set to commence on September 9, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 10 hours long, specifically during the night hours, from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM. As a travel CVOR Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all cardiovascular procedures are conducted safely and efficiently. You will work closely with surgeons and other medical staff to facilitate optimal patient outcomes during surgical procedures. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care as a CVOR Technologist during surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff in the operating room.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during cardiovascular surgeries.
  • Maintain and operate medical equipment used in cardiovascular procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
  • Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.

Requirements

  • Valid CVOR Technologist certification and relevant experience in the field.
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with medical teams.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in travel nursing or working in different healthcare facilities.
  • Additional certifications in related fields such as ACLS or BLS.
