About the position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients while enjoying the flexibility and adventure that comes with travel assignments. The role involves working in a short-term acute care hospital, where you will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing high-quality care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. You will also maintain the cleanliness of the procedure rooms and ensure that adequate supplies are stocked at all times. The position requires a strong technical skill set, including the ability to grasp and manipulate equipment, as well as the physical capability to move about the department and assist with procedures. You will be expected to work under close supervision at times, while also being able to operate independently when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess excellent visual acuity and communication skills, as these are essential for effectively interacting with patients and the healthcare team. This travel assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of procedure rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Assist with moving equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs.
  • Work under close supervision and independently as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in interventional radiology procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical and motor skills for handling equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Everbridge, Homecare Homebase, IBM - Initiate Healthcare, Oracle Cerner systems.
