About the position

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Everett, Washington. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Cath Lab procedures. The role is set to commence on August 5, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The work schedule will consist of 8-hour shifts, primarily during the day. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after procedures, and ensuring the cleanliness of the work environment. You will also be required to transport patients as needed and maintain adequate stock of supplies. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, technical abilities, and cognitive skills to manage frequent interactions with the public and meet deadlines under pressure. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and will have graduated from an accredited school. Certifications may be required based on facility requirements. Physical abilities are essential, including the capacity to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs, and perform tasks that involve pushing, bending, and pulling. Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care in the Cath Lab.
  • Transport patients as needed during procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with other health team members.
  • Report patient responses to interventions and outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or similar role.
  • Graduate from an accredited school for Cath Lab Technologists.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and move/lift equipment (50-100 lbs).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel.
  • Technical skills to assist with procedures and operate departmental equipment.
  • Cognitive skills to manage interactions with the public and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various Cath Lab procedures.
