About the position

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral part of the cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The position is full-time, with assignments ranging from one month to 26 weeks, allowing you to explore various locations while making a significant impact in patient care. Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all necessary supplies and instruments are available for procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during surgical interventions.

Requirements

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• At minimum, current BLS certification required (certifications may vary by location, job may require ACLS).
• 1 year of experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a variety of surgical procedures beyond cardiac surgery.
• Additional certifications in surgical technology or related fields.
