About the position

Coast Medical Service is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Mesa, Arizona. This position involves working 12-hour shifts during the day, providing essential support in the catheterization laboratory. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in various procedures, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly, and maintaining a sterile environment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. The pay package for this position is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Additionally, holiday pay is included, along with a 401k retirement plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various catheterization procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and is ready for use.
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient vitals and comfort during procedures.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts during the day.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
