About the position

Aequor Allied is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist for a travel position in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a specialized environment, focusing on catheterization procedures and assisting in various diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Cath Lab Technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing catheterization procedures. The position requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in operating specialized equipment used in the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing the Cath Lab for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly. They will assist in the setup of sterile fields and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The Cath Lab Technologist will also monitor patients' vital signs during procedures, providing immediate assistance as needed. This position demands excellent communication skills, as the technologist will need to explain procedures to patients and their families, addressing any concerns they may have. This travel position is expected to last for 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically working 10-hour shifts. The start date is as soon as possible, and the pay package will be based on the 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Cath Lab for procedures and ensure all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
