About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Austin, Texas. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technology. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts during the day, specifically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This travel nursing position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential support in cardiovascular surgeries. As a CVOR Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment is prepared and functioning properly, and collaborating with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care. Responsibilities

  • Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures as a CVOR Technologist.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments for operations.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care during procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals and assist in maintaining a sterile environment during surgeries.
  • Provide support and assistance to surgeons and other medical staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid CVOR Technologist certification.
  • Experience in cardiovascular operating room settings is preferred.
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various surgical instruments and equipment used in CVOR.
