About the position

Skyline Med Staff Allied is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Burlington, Vermont. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technology. The role is set to commence on September 9, 2024, and will last for a duration of 20 weeks. The CVOR Technologist will be expected to work 36 hours per week, with shifts lasting 12 hours, primarily in the evenings, and the schedule is flexible to accommodate the needs of the facility and the staff member. Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the cardiovascular operating room during surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff in preparing for surgeries.
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly before procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during surgeries.
  • Monitor patient vitals and assist in patient care as needed during surgical procedures.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a CVOR Technologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with surgical teams.
