Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Everett, Washington. This position is designed for a dedicated professional who is ready to embark on a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and handle equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs, which includes pushing, pulling, and bending. The Cath Lab Technologist will also maintain the cleanliness of the rooms and ensure that there is an adequate stock of supplies available for procedures. In addition to technical skills, the position demands strong sensory capabilities, including visual acuity and effective communication skills. The Cath Lab Technologist must be able to work under close supervision and occasionally work independently. This role is crucial in supporting the clinical team and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their catheterization procedures. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Assist with procedures and use department equipment as needed.
  • Remain in a stationary position and move about as required.
  • Handle and move equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs.

Requirements

  • Ability to grasp and perform fine manipulation tasks.
  • Strong technical and motor skills for pushing, pulling, and moving about during procedures.
  • Ability to work under close supervision and independently when required.
  • Visual acuity and effective communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Epic charting system.
