About the position

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technology. The role requires the technologist to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, assisting surgeons and other medical staff during cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, particularly in the cardiovascular field, and be able to adapt quickly to different surgical teams and protocols. The position is a travel assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a start date of August 26, 2024. The technologist will be expected to work 36 hours per week, with shifts scheduled for 12 hours during the day. This travel role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in various healthcare settings while providing essential support in the operating room. The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgeries.
  • Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
  • Monitor patient vitals and assist in patient positioning during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow in the operating room.

Requirements

  • Valid CVOR Technologist certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in cardiovascular surgical technology is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different surgical teams.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Previous travel experience as a CVOR Technologist.
