About the position

PHP is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel Cath Lab Technologist for an exciting opportunity in Morristown, New Jersey. The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating imaging equipment and will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The position is a travel assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a start date of August 12, 2024. The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with shifts lasting 8 hours, primarily in the evenings. As a travel position, the Cath Lab Technologist will have the opportunity to explore new locations while contributing to the healthcare community. Responsibilities

  • Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the Cath Lab.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to operate imaging equipment effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
