About the position

Aequor Allied is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist for a travel position in Seattle, Washington. This role is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in catheterization laboratory procedures. The selected candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. The position requires a commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort while assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for preparing the necessary equipment, ensuring that all instruments are sterile and functioning properly, and assisting in the monitoring of patients throughout their procedures. The travel assignment is set to begin on August 26, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. This position is classified as Travel Therapy Staff, which means that the candidate will be required to travel to the assigned facility in Seattle and may receive a tax-free stipend as part of their compensation package. The pay package will be based on the 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment and be adaptable to the needs of the facility and the patients they serve.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
