About the position

Medasource is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Lafayette, Indiana. This position is focused on providing high-quality cardiac ultrasound services. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for using ultrasound equipment to visualize internal anatomy and functions, which is crucial for diagnosing various medical conditions. Your role will involve calibrating and manipulating ultrasound equipment to conduct appointments, capturing images or videos of potential abnormalities, and discreetly notifying medical personnel if you identify any concerning findings. This position requires the ability to work independently without direct supervision, ensuring that you can manage your responsibilities effectively in a travel setting. In this role, you will operate all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique, adhering to the highest standards of patient care and safety. You will also be expected to meet all computer and documentation competencies, which are essential for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The shift for this position is 8 hours per day, working 5 days a week, and the pay package is based on these hours, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
